I had the pleasure of participating in “The AI Advantage: Skills & Opportunities for the Next Generation,” an event attended by over 350 young people.
My session emphasized the growing importance of artificial intelligence as a practical skill for the next generation. AI is no longer a distant concept or limited to technical experts; it is becoming a core capability that young people need to understand, apply, and use responsibly across education, work, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
During the session, I discussed key AI skills that young people should begin developing today, how beginners can start using AI without a strong technical background, and how they can transition from being passive consumers of technology to active creators, problem-solvers, and innovators.
I also highlighted the significance of ethics, responsibility, and critical thinking in AI usage. While AI can enhance speed and productivity, its true value lies in how we leverage it to learn better, create meaningful solutions, and tackle real challenges.
I appreciate DHishub Institute for organizing this vital platform and for creating a space where young people can learn, ask questions, and explore the opportunities shaping the future.
AI is not something to observe from the sidelines. We must understand it, apply it, and use it to create real value for our communities and our future.
