I had the privilege of speaking at Youth Career Talk 1.0, where we explored "AI and the Future of Youth: Skills, Careers, and Opportunities."
One message I wanted every young person to leave with was this: AI will continue to evolve, but the skills that make us human will become even more valuable. Communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, adaptability, and AI literacy are not just future skills; they are today's competitive advantage.
During the session, we discussed how AI should be used to enhance our thinking, not replace it. Technology can provide information, but it cannot replace human judgment, creativity, empathy, or the ability to build meaningful connections.
To everyone who attended, thank you for your engagement, thoughtful questions, and enthusiasm. Your curiosity and willingness to learn give me confidence that Somalia's next generation is ready to build, innovate, and lead in the digital economy.
My sincere appreciation to the Somali Designers Platform and all the partners for creating this valuable platform for learning and meaningful conversations.
Don't just learn AI. Learn how to use AI to create value.
